Poster designed by Fix Masseau (Pierre Felix Masseau, 1905-1994) featuring an elegant Art Deco image of a steam train pulling into a station with ETAT written on the red bumper in front of the train. Official lithograph re-issue from the 1932 original by Studio Editions, printed by Bedos, Paris. Excellent condition.Pierre Félix Masseau (17 March 1869 – 1937), known professionally as Fix-Masseau, was a noted French sculptor and father of poster artist Pierre Fix-Masseau.Fix-Masseau was born in Lyon, studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, served as director of the École Nationale d'Art Décoratif in Limoges until 1935, and was made an officer of the Légion d'honneur. He formed part of the French decorative art movement, creating objects such as vases and chandeliers in the Art Nouveau style, exhibited numerous works at the Salon des Artistes Francais and the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, and was widely respected for his portrait busts.Country: France, Year: 1982, Artist: Fix-Masseau, Size (cm)99x62

Buyer Pays Shipping Cost and import duties. We offer worldwide shipping, payment on collection is possible.

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes.  We use Royal Mail special delivery with insurance for postage in the UK and signed and tracked service where available with a maximum insurance of £250 for international shipments. Over-sized posters (over 80cm) are shipped by UPS.  

We dispatch items within 1-2 working days and notify customers if there is any delay. Delivery to UK addresses usually takes 2-3 working days. Delivery to international addresses varies depending on destination and usually takes 7-10 working days.

Mr Voigt?s family has kept this collection since his death but would now like to give new collectors the opportunity to engage with the heyday of Polish poster art.
