FABIO CAMAROTTA (Argentina, 1965).
"Lights I", 2015.
Acrylic pressed with glass, "pressed print", on wood.
Signed, titled, dated on the back.
Size: 100 x 100 cm.
Argentinean visual artist, based in Madrid. During his artistic career he has developed various techniques, among which the micro decomposition of the image into particles (like pixels) stands out, to then recompose it by means of the pressure exerted on it with the weight of his body on a glass. In this way, each drop reveals a new image, leaving behind geometric exactitude and opening the way to a more anarchic impressionist version. Today, however, he expresses this creative anarchy through paint stains, which are the result of an explosion of colours and textures, also obtained through the "pressed paint" technique. This time it is not the weight of his body that generates the final image, but the weight of the canvas itself on a blank canvas, a process intensified by his hands, which flatten and caress one of the canvases so that it adheres to the other. In this way he achieves a result in which the symmetry of shapes and colours stands out, with energetic strokes and random lines. His work has been exhibited in numerous institutions, among which are: IVAN. valencia. Spain

INSURANCE INCIDENTS: Coverage for the value of the auction up to 3000 ? per shipment, if the value of the auction is higher, Setdart will send you a quote including the additional insurance.
