A George III mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass breakarch dial with boss to arch inscribed `Nicholas Blondel, Guernsey`, above a chapter ring with Roman numerals framing a foliate engraved centre with subsidiary seconds and date aperture, all cornered with cast and pierced foliate scroll spandrels, the hood with brass eagle and ball finials above a moulded arch pediment, glazed door and turned columns, the trunk and arch door with satinwood and chequer line banding, on a similarly decorated base and plinth, height approx 224cm (faults and alterations), together with pendulum and two weights.
