Vacheron, concealed erotic open face pocket watch, Geneva, Switzerland, mid-19th century, silvered
White enamel dial with Arabic hours having some repairs at center and along edges. Scalloped edges to case and conforming front and back covers. Back cover with repeating floral pattern and a cartouche with doves, a dog and an urn in a landscape. Pendant set with what appears to be a sapphire. Comes with a key and is currently not running when wound. Needs an overhaul. Back case opens to an amorous couple in period clothing. The edges having some chips and inpainting. The back inside cover stamped 8430. Comes with a velvet-lined leather case.
