Our buyer’s commission is 20% including VAT which is less than most of our competition, VAT is 20% under the margin scheme
ROOM BIDDERS
Bidders attending the sale must register and get a bidding number; proof of identity is needed to register. Bidding increments from 0-£50 are £2, £50-100 are £5, from £100-£500 are £10, £500 and over at auctioneer’s discretion
PAYMENT
Payment will be accepted in cash, cheque (allow clearance), bank transfer, credit card (3% surcharge) or debit card (no charge). Please allow 14 days for full clearance before your goods are posted or collected
LIVE INTERNET BIDS
Internet bids via thesaleroom.com please. There is a 3% surcharge for internet bids to cover costs, placing of a bid is taken as full agreement for Sovereign Auctions to process payment from the registered card on thesaleroom.com, and agreement to all generally accepted conditions of sale whether stated here or otherwise. Please note, our card processing will take 14 days before posting goods

SHIPPING & POSTAGE
Lots may be collected at the hotel on the day of sale, collected at an agreed London coin show or will be posted after 14 days. Postal buyers will be invoiced with postage or shipping included on the invoice, we try to do this at cost plus a small premium for packaging.

Sovereign Auctions exercises all due care to ensure lot descriptions are accurate and the items are genuine, but descriptions should not be taken as statements of fact. Comments & opinions, catalogue references or prices are intended as a guide solely, do not form part of lot descriptions and should not be construed as such.
Each lot can be subject to reserve agreed with the vendor
Lots are the property of the auction company until paid for in full
If any dispute arises, the auctioneer has final discretion to resolve the dispute
Lots are available for inspection on the 2 days preceding the sale, buyers should take advantage of this to determine the authenticity, condition and cost of shipment before bidding
Sovereign Auctions reserve the right to bid on behalf of the vendor or any client it deems worthy
Lots shall be at the buyer’s risk from the fall of the hammer. Insurance, storage and collection are all the responsibility of the buyer from this point
