he first, in two-coloured gold, chased with a border of acanthus leaves alternating with flowerheads, the sides formed of polished gold panels between husk bands, the stepped lid chased with a flowerhead, maker's mark, discharge mark of Jean Jacques Prévost, post-1918 eagle's head control marks; the second, chased with laurel garlands interlaced with polished bands on a sablé ground framing the polished gold panels, the stepped lid chased with a small flowerhead above entrelac-de-rubans border, the matrix on the base engraved with two coats of arms under a coronet, maker's mark, discharge mark of Julien Alaterre,
