Literature
Robert H A Miles, Synchronome, Masters of Electrical Timekeeping, revised edition, AHS London 2019, p.72

Catalogue note
An interesting and early ¾ second Synchronome timepiece. There has clearly been some confusion with the numbering in the past as the 1 of the serial number is poorly struck on all extant examples. It would appear that Robert Miles has incorrectly assigned double digit serial numbers to the ¾ second Synchronomes when, in fact, the lowest numbers are all three digits. This example therefore remains one of the earliest surviving.
