The Sir Bobby Robson Celebrity Golf Classic at Pestana Vila Sol in aid of the Refugio Aboim Ascensão Friday July 15th / Saturday July 16th 2016
Sir Bobby's golf tournament is run in aid of a homeless children's charity in Portugal, Refugio Aboim Ascensão, which Bobby and Elsie chose, and has become a high spot on the summer calendar for footballers, football managers and celebrities.
A total of 30 teams compete for the honour of winning Bobby's tournament, played at Pestana Vila Sol's championship course which has twice hosted the Portuguese Open; teams of three + a celebrity drawn from the world of football, other sports and entertainment compete. Previous celebrities who have captained the winning teams include: Ally McCoist, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Andy Townsend, Frank Stapleton, Chris Coleman and Steve Bruce.
On Friday the teams practice this challenging course ready for Saturday's tournament which is filmed for broadcast on Sky Sports.
The celebrities turn out to celebrate Sir Bobby's Life and to support the homeless Children's charity for which Bob's tournament has raised over 842,230 Euros to date.

The Sir Bobby's Online Auction Timed Charity Auction will start at
12.01am (GMT) on Saturday 14th November and bidding will close from 8pm on Sunday 29th November.
On all lots bidding will close in 2 minutes intervals. If a bid is made on a lot immediately before the lot closes, the bidding on that particular lot will remain open for another 10 minutes. If no further bids are received after 10 minutes, the lot will close. However if further bids are received on that lot, then it will remain open, in 10 minute intervals, until no further bids are received.

2. confirm that you are authorised to provide these credit/debit card details to Lacy Scott & Knight Auctioneers on behalf of Sir Bobby Robson Foundation (SBRF), The League Managers Charity, West Suffolk Hosptial and GeeWizz, through www.the-saleroom.com and agree that Sir Bobby's Auction/West Suffolk Hospital are entitled to ship the goods to the card holder name and card holder address provided in fulfilment of the sale and to include any associated postal costs. For those wishing to pay by bank transfer, details will be emailed with successful invoices.
Important payment information:
Payment will automatically be taken on December 3rd 2015 unless alternative arrangements have been made, therefore please ensure that funds are in place. Please note if payment is recieved later than December 7th, prizes/goods purchased may not arrive before 25th December 2015.
All charges must be paid and cleared through the bank before any items will be released. Successful bidders will be notified by email.
All proceeds from this auction are being divided between Sir Bobby Robson Foundation (SBRF) 35%, The League Managers Charity 25%, West Suffolk Hosptial 20% and GeeWizz Charity 20%
Shipping: The purchaser of any lot agrees to pay all costs relating to packing and postage of their lots. Please state at time of payment whether you wish to receive the lot through the post and will pay the stated fee if applicable, or will make arrangements to collect the lot from Sir Bobby's Online Auction office Fundraising office (Hall Farm Estate Office, The Drift, Fornham St. Martin, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, IP31 1SL). All lots will be packed and dispatched, or be ready for collection from their stated Sir Bobby's Online Auction office location, within 14 days of payment being received.
