Musician: Ian Dury Artist: Peter Blake Signed by: Peter Blake Size: A3 16.5” x 11.7” (42 x 29.7cm) When the Ian Dury and the Blockheads song ‘Reasons To Be Cheerful (Part 3)’ was originally released by Stiff Records in 1979 it was accompanied by a special poster which, soon after the release of the single, disappeared into the mists of popular music folklore. Fast-forward 31 years to 2010 and with rehearsals for REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL in full swing Sir Peter Blake joined the list of the show’s famous supporters and kindly donated 100 full-colour re-prints of the original promotional poster for ‘Reasons To Be Cheerful (Part 3)’. This print is an Artist Proof of that edition of 200.
