"An important and influential collection of short treatises on various topics of natural philosophy. In it he treats many specific problems (including the motion of heavy and light bodies, reaction, the regions of the air, mixture, and elementary qualities), often showing the acuteness of the logical works, although he often relies on traditional solutions to the problems. This collection contains a typical late sixteenth-century approach to natural philosophy" (DSB). - Etwas gebräunt u. teils leicht wasserrandig. Zahlr.
