Racing helmet worn by famed driver Dale Jarrett during the 1998 season. 32 time NASCAR winner went on to win the Winston Cup Series (now referred to as the Sprint Cup Series) in 1999. Simpson brand helmet features an American flag decal on bottom with ''TAURUS'' in bold white letters on the chin. In the blue space above is Jarrett's signature and number ''88''. ''Ford'' logo appears above the eye visor and again on both the left and right sides. Below each side logo reads, ''Quality Care Service / Ford Credit Racing''. Interior of helmet contains thick black soft foam cushioning with a black chin strap. Size 7 3/8, weighing 3.4 pounds. Last name of helmet signature is fading, minor scratches to top of helmet. Overall very good condition. With an LOA from Dale Jarrett.
