Description
Bronze medal from the VIII Olympiad, won at the games in Paris, France in 1924. Designed by Andre Rivaud, the medal bears relief of an athlete helping his rival up, in the spirit on sportsmanship. Verso bears relief of sports equipment and a harp which is a nod to the Cultural Olympiad. Measures 2'' or 55 mm in diameter and weighs 71 g. or 2.5 oz. Some tarnishing, very good plus condition.
