Charles Schulz hand-drawn ''Peanuts'' comic strip, published on 18 December 1957. In this early strip, Lucy mercilessly teases Schroeder for forgetting Beethoven's birthday, who of course is Schroeder's idol. Beethoven's birthday was indeed a day earlier, on 12 December. An early strip with Linus and Schroeder together, who would often be paired during the strip's history, as Lucy had an unrequited crush on Schroeder. With United Feature Syndicate label on first panel, although portion including year is torn away. Measures 28'' x 7''. Light toning, otherwise near fine.
