A diamond set stylised Huguenot cross with central cushion shaped hobnail diamond, weight approx 0.75ct, claw set with gallery of cushion shaped small hobnail diamonds surrounding four arms of cross diamond set, each made from two spreading graduating 'feathers' containing small cluster of five stones, with a pair of small spacers between. Gold backplate fused onto silver settings. Stones and mount suggest early 19thC manufacture. Well matched, bright, white stones. Around 1ct per arm, total ct weight of external stones estimated to exceed 4ct. Total weight 12.4g.
