Good condition

This fine drawing of the view of the city Boppard at the Rhein was made in 1850. In the foreground a few ladies and gentlemen are taking a boat tour in a gondola and a couple is strolling along the waterfront. In the background the medieval city Boppard lies with its breathtaking backdrop of the mountains. The drawing is inscribed on the right hand side with “Moses Igersheimer”.

The drawing is in good condition with some signs of age, such as slight foxing along the upper border. The dimensions framed are 44 x 51 cm and the dimensions of the paper are 30 x 42 cm. It is titled in the center on the lower border with: “Boppard am Rhein”, it is inscribed on the right hand side with “Moses Igersheimer” and dated in the lower right hand corner with “1850”.

Guter Zustand

Diese fein gezeichnete Ansicht der Stadt Boppard am Rhein wurde 1850 angefertigt. Im Vordergrund sind einige Personen in Gondeln zuerkennen und am Uferrand spaziert ein Paar Arm in Arm am Rhein entlang. Im Hintergrund liegt die mittelalterliche Stadt Boppard mit ihren schönen Kirchtürmen vor der eindrucksvollen Bergkulisse. Das Blatt ist rechterhand bezeichnet „Moses Igersheimer“.

Die Zeichnung ist in einem guten Zustand mit nur leichten Alterspuren. Das Papier zeigt leichte Stockflecken am oberen Rand. Die Maße gerahmt betragen 44 x 51 cm; die Maße des Blattes sind 30 x 42 cm. Es ist am unteren Bildrand betitelt mit „Boppard am Rhein“, am rechten Bildrand bezeichnet „Moses Igersheimer“ und unten rechts datiert mit „1850“.
