“Paul Wunderlich is to me like a kindred spirit and, thank God, my affection involves both working for and with him. I love his mental chasms, visible to hardly anyone, his hidden caverns, in which many have tumbled head first lost in admiration. He is an aesthete, drawing across shallows from a delicate world of emotions, with a smile, well-read, barely in the here and now, a worker bee and a confident perfectionist. And an explorer, a master of many areas of art: as a lithographer, an etcher and a draughtsman, a painter and a sculptor.” (quote by Claus Steinrötter fromPaul Wunderlich: The Andere Sicht, Galerie Steinrötter, Münster, 2004)

Condition:

The work is in very good condition. Minimal, frame-related loss of color along the edges. The canvas measures 81.3 x 65.2 cm, The frame measures
