Isabelle Waternaux is a representative of classical portrait photography. Her works are characterized by her creative and sometimes slightly provocative artistic approach. The present case was published by Blue Moov Editions and presents 13 C-prints by the photographer, taken from the series ‘Je vous salue marie pleine de grâce‘ and ‘Memento mori‘. Besides, the set also includes a self-portrait of the artist created in 2009.
Condition:
The C-prints as well as the cardboard box are in very good condition with only minimal traces of wear.1 C-Print is framed and comes separately inside the box. The image size of each picture is c. 25 x 20.5 cm, the sheet sizes are 30.5 x 22.7 cm. The dimensions of the case are 33.5 x 26 x 6.5 cm.
Isabelle Waternaux (b. 1959)
Isabelle Waternaux was born in Marseille and studied architecture at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Her works are located in numerous international museum collections, including the Centre Pompidou, the Maison Européenne de la Photographie and the National Library of France.
