Jean-Marc Bustamante (b. 1951)
Jean-Marc Bustamante was born in Toulouse in 1952. After studying business administration, the Frenchman discovered his passion for photography, when assisting the well-known photographer William Klein. In 1983, he met the sculptor Bernard Bazile with whom he exhibited three years under the name ‘Bazilebustamante’. Bustamante now teaches at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. In his works, Bustamante combines the media of sculpture, painting and photography. His preferred medium is, however, still photography, in which he attempts to bring together the different media and thus to change our perception of them. Bustamante is primarily known for his color photographs with motifs from the suburbs of Barcelona. His works have been exhibited by renowned art dealers such as Thaddaeus Ropac, Paris, and Walter Storms, Munich. (cbo)

Zustand:
Die Serigrafie ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Darstellungsmaße sind 40 x 60 cm. Der transparente Darstellungsuntergrund misst 60 x 80 cm. Die Rahmenmaße belaufen sich auf 82 x 102 cm.
