With the motif of highly stylized mosques
The carpet dates to around 1960 and originates from Afghanistan. The composition of the pattern of the interior field is designed in the manner of the TurkmenEngsi carpets. The central field depicts highly stylized mosques, or better prayer niches (compare Tekke or Jomut Engsi), which are surrounded by a diagonal stripe pattern of stylized flowers. A nine-fold border, also highly ornamented in multiple colors, frames the depiction.
The carpet is in age-according good condition. At the shirazi is a small repair and, slight Abrash is visible and the orange is faded. The dimensions are 1.49 x 2.44 m.

Der Teppich datiert um 1960 nach Afghanistan. Der Musteraufbau des Innenfeldes ist in der Art der turkmenischenEngsi Teppiche ausgeführt. Das zentrale Feld zeigt hochstilisierte Moscheen, resp. Gebetsnischen (vgl. Tekke oder Jomut Engsi), die von einem diagonalen Bandmuster aus stilisierten Blumen umgeben werden. Eine neunfache Bordüre, die ebenso in vielfältiger Ornamentierung und Farbigkeit gestaltet ist, rahmt die Darstellung.
Der Teppich befindet sich in altersgemäß gutem Zustand. An der Shirazi ist eine kleine Reparatur vorgenommen worden, leichter Abrash ist zu vernehmen und das Orange ist ausgeblutet. Die Maße betragen 1,49 x 2,44 m.
