This delightful oil painting shows three little kittens in a haystack. The two kittens on the left and right hand side with salt and pepper fur gaze upwards. The red and white kitten in the middle gazes with wide green eyes directly at the spectator. This very green is nicely reflected in the cloth on which the three kittens rest on. The painting is in very good condition and shows only minor traces of wear at its edges. It is signed lower right “Mayer”. The overall dimensions of the painting are 30 x 40 cm.
