The buyer’s premium is 17.5% of the successful bid price of each lot up to and including $100,000, and 12.5% on any amount in excess of $100,000.
Shipping
Garth’s Auctions, Inc. will ship items bought at auction at the purchaser’s risk. Purchasers will be billed for packing, handling, postage and insurance. Merchandise will be shipped within 15 days of receipt of payment. Garth’s Auctions, Inc. is in no way responsible for the acts or omissions of independent contractors, packers or carriers of purchased merchandise. Customers who prefer to use a different shipping company should disregard the shipping charges on their invoice, and notify Garth’s to make arrangements for release to their preferred shipper. In most cases furniture is shipped through independent contractors. A list is available upon request. Packages refused by recipient, or which for any reason cannot be delivered, are the responsiblilty of the buyer including any payments for forwarding, disposal, or return transportation charges. International shipments: buyers are additionally responsible for customs charges, penalties, duties, storage charges or other expenses incurred as a result of an action by customs.
