Important Information for Those Wishing to Participate in Auctions of Galerie Arcimboldo (the “Bidder”).

1. Auction Conditions and Liability ?

By participating in the auction, the Bidder accepts the Auction Terms and Conditions of Galerie Arcimboldo (“Arcimboldo”), published in the catalogue and on the Arcimboldo website. In the event of any discrepancies, the following provisions shall prevail over the Auction Terms and Conditions. Every Bidder is personally liable for bids submitted by him/her.

2. Registration ?

Arcimboldo accepts bids only under the following conditions:
• The registration form provided by Arcimboldo must be used?for registration. It is available at the exhibition rooms, published in the catalogue and downloadable from the Arcimboldo website.
• Bidders participating in the salesroom must register with Arcimboldo prior to the start of the auction.
• Bidders who wish to submit their bids by telephone or in writing must register with Arcimboldo no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the auction.
• The registration form must be completed and duly signed by the Bidder.
• Copies of the Bidder's valid passport and valid credit card (both in the name of the Bidder) must be enclosed with the registration form.

3. Down Payment

To secure its claims and those of the vendor, Arcimboldo requires a deposit of the amount specified hereunder from every Bidder (“Down Payment”).

For lots marked in the catalogue with the symbol “?” or “*” (“Premium Lots”), bids will be accepted only after receipt of a deposit in the amount of EUR 40,000. For all other lots, bids will be accepted only upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the sum of the asking prices of the lots (as listed in the catalogue) for which the Bidder wishes to place a bid.

The Down Payment must be received no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. If the Down Payment is not received prior to the start of the auction, the Bidder will not be permitted to participate in the auction. Payment of the Down Payment may be made in cash or byVisa/Mastercard, or bank transfer to the following account:

Payments must include a note with the Bidder’s name or Client Number (if known).

4. Payment for the Auctioned Items

Payment for the auctioned items must be made according to the Auction Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise agreed. An additional fee of 3% of the invoiced sum shall be charged for credit card payments.

If a Bidder does not pay within the term of payment set forth in the Auction Conditions, Arcimboldo shall be entitled to charge a default interest of 10% p.a.

Down Payments will be applied to the invoiced sum, unless agreed otherwise. Surplus Down Payments will be refunded to the Bidder after the auction without delay.

Arcimboldo will release the auctioned?items only once the full invoiced sum has been paid.
