Military: An exceptionally complete possibly unique collection, belonging to an Officer of The Leinster Regiment, during World War I. The lot includes, his uniforms, jackets and trousers, hats, with tin box container, his leather boots and stirrups, his folding bed, roll-out mattress, folding chair and table, his fitted travel case, with outer protective leather cover, his cooker with spirit lamps, his cups and saucers, knives, forks, spoons and other items, and his large canvas carrying bag for same. The officer was Major E.F. Farrell, Co. Meath, one of the famous Farrell Brothers. An amazing survivor, so intact, almost 100 years later. As a collection, w.a.f. (1)
