SMART, John (1838-199, illustrator). A Round of the Links; Views of the Golf Greens of Scotland. [Edinburgh: privately printed], 1893. Oblong 2° (425 x 565mm). Title in red and black. Dedication leaf signed by Smart and inscribed 'No. 93'. 20 etched plates by George Aikman after Smart. (Title and dedication leaf with crease, light spotting at margins of title, first plate lightly soiled, slight bubbling at inner margins of some plates.) Original brown cloth (covers very bowed, heavy crease in front free endpaper). Provenance: John Smart; by direct descent to the present owner.
