This example with a single edged curved 34 inch blade. Decorated with half length blue and gilt engraved motifs of a stand of arms, floral, and crescents. The forte with a Solingen cutler’s details. The hilt is similar to the 1788 Light Cavalry pattern, but with the addition of three open bar guard, original leather covered grip with copper twist wire binding. Housed in metal scabbard fitted with two loose rings. Overall GC some age wear, retaining approx 30% of blue and gilt finish to the blade.
