An attractive example comprising the reverse of an 1820 Crown depicting St.George and the Dragon enamelled in red, green and blue within white enamelled Garter. The crown is set in a circular silver laurel wreath pinback mount. Reverse, which is actually the coin’s obverse, bears rather polished bust of George III. One or two tiny blemishes to Garter otherwise VGC
King George III died in 1820 and was succeeded by his son, the Prince Regent.
