German Third Reich 1938 Gau Victor’s Badge in National Trade Competition.
A good scarce die-cast bronze example. Laurel wreath mounted with cream enamelled disc inscribed “Gaulsieger 1938”; mounted on the disc, a bronze eagle on cogwheel bearing red, white and black enamel Hitler Youth diamond. Reverse with flat tapered pin and raised maker’s details ‘G. Brehmer, Markneukirchen’. Slight enamel damage to top section of diamond otherwise VGC.
Instituted by DAF head, Robert Ley, in 1934.
