RUSSIAN SILVER KOVSH (FABERGE) A late 19th century Russian silver & jewelled kovsh by the Faberge work master, Anders Nevalainen. The kovsh of traditional form, the pierced handle set with a table cut emerald and a cabochon moonstone. The base set with a 1757 Empress Elizabeth coin. Stamped A.N maker's mark, double headed eagle mark & traces of a scratched inventory number. Length 4 3/4 ins. NOTE: Purchased by the Vendor from the previous owner, who purchased from Elliott-Stevens Ltd., New York.
