Winslow was a client of Frank Lloyd Wright and enlisted Wright to create the intricate designs that adorn each page. Winslow's original edition was bound with a brown leather spine, here reproduced in cloth. A faithful facsimile.
Frank Lloyd Wright (American, 1867-1959)
A Midwestern man by birth, Frank Lloyd Wright went on to become the preeminent American architect and designer of his time. After graduating school he became the chief assistant to the important American modernist architect Louis Sullivan. From there, Wright went on to form his own firm and develop a style known as Prairie school. Wright’s organic, American, and distinctly modern designs resulted in the construction of many iconic buildings, including: the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, NY; Fallingwater, PA; Unity Temple, IL; Imperial Hotel, Japan; etc.
