Nelson Mandela
NO EASY WALK TO FREEDOM - FINE 1ST. EDITION IN DW.

This is Mandela's first book and is without doubt his scarcest, particularly in this hardcover edition. There was a paperback version published simultaneously and although also scarce, appears on the market more frequently. The US edition is somewhat more common. For obvious reasons the book was banned in South Africa and this adds to it's scarcity. With an introduction by Oliver Tambo and edited by Ruth First.

This is a fine unmarked  copy in a complete non price-clipped fine dw. which has very slight age soiling of the white rear panel. Just about as good as it gets. Exceedingly uncommon thus.
