When searching for lots you can use AND and OR to define the link between search terms. For instance:
Searching for oil AND painting will return lots where both these words are present in the lot description whereas oil OR painting will return lots containing either of these words.
You can also add the * symbol for wild card searches. For instance:
Searching for watch* will return all lots with words beginning with watch in the lot description e.g. watch, watches, watchbands, watchcases etc.
Note:
- if neither AND nor OR is specified, AND is assumed.
- If you are searching for an exact phrase, use quotes: "Oil painting"
