Advanced Search

antiquestradegazette.com Advanced Search takes full advantage of highly structured database to offer users a powerful search tool to locate accurately individual lots or groups of lots which meet very specific criteria.

Keywords

You can choose one or more keywords to narrow your search. These keywords can be qualified by the and and or buttons (see examples below). Entering the keywords "walnut dresser" with the and box checked will find all lots which have both of the words present in their descriptions. Entering the keywords "wedgwood spode" with the or box checked will find all lots which have either of the words present in their descriptions. If you wish to find an exact phrase (e.g., "art deco") enter the words and check the match exact phrase checkbox.

Estimates

Advanced search can be used to locate items in particular price brackets: greater than a given price, less than a given price, and in a range between two prices. Note that all prices are in pounds sterling (£).

Sorting Results

When entering your search criteria you can also choose whether to view the results sorted to display the items with the highest estimates first, or those with the lowest.

Multi Currency

Estimates can be viewed in pounds sterling (GBP), US dollars (USD), or Euros. To view the sale estimates in a different currency, click the appropriate radio button. To always view estimates and prices in a currency, click the appropriate radio button and then click "always use". This will change your currency preference in your Registration Details Record (view).
