An English Silver-Mounted Dagger Late 17th Century, Silver Maker's Mark WK Conjoined, Probably Of William Keatt With tapering slightly hollow-ground blade with low ridge along the back, double-edged at the point and with copper-filled mark on one side, hilt comprising quillon-block cast and chased with recurved foliated hound's head quillons, faceted agate grip (one 'ear' chipped) of tapering circular section, and engraved silver tang button mount, in later brown scabbard with linear engraved silver locket and chape 28.2 cm. blade This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: * * VAT on imported items at a preferential rate of 5% on Hammer Price and the prevailing rate on Buyer's Premium.
